First time here. The staff here treated me and Naudia my fur baby of 15 years very good. I had to take her there to go to sleep and they made it very easy on her. It never is easy considering she was a family member. They treated me and her with respect. Thanks to all that helped us through such a difficult time.

This is a great clinic. The entire staff here is friendly and always smiling. My dog, Luna and I have been coming here for about 2 years for annual vaccinations, and incidentals. Dr. Brown is by far the best veterinarian I have ever encountered. She really takes the time to get to know your dog and is very thorough in her checkups. Best place in town, no question.

I have owned many animals! Honestly feels like a zoo at all times in my home & I had lost hope for vets. I felt like most were way to expensive and didn’t care about the animals at all BUT ALL THAT CHANGED WITH RIVERSIDE! They have the kindest doctors and even the receptionists are absolutely amazing! My family and I have taken our dogs here for over a decade. Riverside gave me several extra years with my dog biscuit who had heart disease and was treated by them. He was my best friend and I really appreciated their hard work to extend his life as long as humanley possible. Now my new pup sees them too. Great vet and very knowledgeable medically!

Very awesome staff. Very helpful. We brought our very high anxiety dog in for his shots, and they were very calming for him, and he did great. Very happy with their help and we will be bringing our other dog in when she needs her shots updated.

Riverside has provided excellent veterinary care to my dogs, and is my go-to for kenneling when I leave town. They treat my dog like she's their own and are always extremely friendly. When my first dog was in emergency condition, Riverside vets gave her the best possible care and were honest with me when they thought a different facility had the means to give her more intensive treatment. Even after I transferred her to the other facility, they kept up with me regarding her status. I'd recommend Riverside to anyone with pets in the area!

Love this vet clinic. My dog is reactive and they're always willing to accommodate making sure he's comfortable along with other clients. My dog accidentally got into some food at home and they were even able to help me over the phone, giving me advice on how to proceed. Highly recommend them and Dr. Waddell is super kind, welcoming as well as the front desk staff!

From walking in the door, to the time we left the clinic, everyone was so professional and nice! The facility was clean and bright. We saw Dr Magyar and she was so gentle and kind! She thoroughly went over the problem and possible solutions. I never felt pushed into any diagnostic test but instead given opportunity to be the one to decide what I wanted done based on her explanation of each choice. Great medical care, friendly, clean, lots of open hours. I bring in my exotics (gerbils and guinea pigs… ha!) and they take great care of them. They are consistently good to work with and helpful to my critters. So glad we found them. They are worth the drive, for sure.

I cannot say enough about our most recent experience at Riverside. We have taken 3 of our dogs to this vet for several years and continue because of the great care and knowledge of the vets at this practice despite the now 40 minute drive to Radford. Most recently, we had to take our youngest dog in and he required surgery. We had great experiences with both Dr. Wyner and Dr. Beckner! The vet techs we worked with were sweet, knowledgeable, and welcomed us in to see our guy after his surgery even though he needed to stay an extra day. Everyone we spoke to over the phone (receptionists included!) were friendly and helped ease our minds about the process, uncertainty of the procedure, and provided info about financial options. The techs even encouraged us to call and check in on his status anytime we wanted. After surgery, the Vet called and gave detailed information about the procedure and how he was doing. Seeing how the entire team interacted with our pup and gave him love makes me happy to call Riverside our Vet clinic!
