What to Expect at Your First Visit
We want your first visit to feel easy, organized, and welcoming for both you and your pet. At Riverside Veterinary Clinic, our team takes the time to get to know you, understand your pet’s history, and make sure all your questions are answered.
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our team and asked to complete any necessary forms if they haven’t been filled out ahead of time. One of our veterinary professionals will then review your pet’s medical history and discuss any concerns or goals you may have.
During the appointment, your veterinarian will perform a comprehensive nose-to-tail physical exam and may recommend preventive care such as vaccinations, parasite prevention, dental evaluation, or diagnostic testing based on your pet’s needs. From there, we’ll talk through any findings and work with you to create a personalized care plan.
If additional care is ever needed, we may recommend follow-up visits or, in some cases, referral to a specialist to ensure your pet receives the best possible treatment.
